The leadership of Balanced Growth Consulting completed a site visit to several St. Louis innovation centers in July, 2017. Much of our time was spent in the Cortex District, a 230-acre innovator/incubator/accelerator ecosystem located in the Central West End area of St. Louis and in close proximity to the Washington University and St. Louis University campuses. We also visited CIC St. Louis, a subsidiary of the Cambridge Innovation Center that develops ecosystems to help entrepreneurs innovate better and faster and BioSTL/BioGenerator, an evergreen investor that creates, grows, and invests in promising bioscience companies and entrepreneurs.

The innovation community in St. Louis is rapidly growing, highly collaborative, and welcoming to entrepreneurs, developers, designers, mentors, educators and more. It has high visibility and alignment with key funding sources, government agencies, universities and corporations. The St. Louis innovation communities offers tremendous potential for our clients.
